What is Raised Print?
Raised print is a specialty printing technique that is added on top of cards. Raised print is mostly matte and can be used to add a tactical feel to cards. We use a UV printing process (not embossing or thermography).
Can Raised Print be metallic?
No, our raised print cannot be metallic. Only matte CMYK color.
What papers can be printed with Raised Print?
Any paper can be printed with Raised Print!
Does Raised Print work with any design?
Raised Print will work with most designs! Simple logos/graphics and larger text/lettering are ideal. It doesn’t work for very thin lines or for very large solid areas, but is great for most things in-between.

What is the difference between Spot UV and Raised Print?
Spot UV is glossy. Raised Print is matte.
What is the turnaround for Raised Print?
Raised Print adds about 1-3 days to the estimated production time of an order. Orders with Raised Print can be expedited however will take a minimum of 3 business days.

Please prepare two separate files: one for the non-Spot UV elements(backgrounds, etc.) and one for the Spot UV elements.
Keep the Spot UV elements as the color you’d like them to print. If the Spot UV elements are white or clear please use a spot color.
